Maria Canning Prew, Salon Owner /Senior Beauty Therapist, qualified .

IHBC Beauty Specialists Diploma 1991, BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy 1992.

I originally created Tilly Rose to offer an exclusive, freelance service for weddings and special occasions, which led on to becoming a boutique salon from 2012 to 2025. I am now working from my new home studio, just 5 minutes away from the High Street, focusing on my specialities of female intimate waxing, skin care, and Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (blemish removal).

A Level Graduate, VTCT Diploma in Make-Up Artistry.

I qualified with a Distinction from Stratford-upon-Avon College in NVQ Level 2 Hair & Make-Up Artistry.

I have been working alongside my mum Maria at the salon for the past 6 years, both as a salon assistant as well as helping out behind the scenes with the website, social media and general admin. I have also spent the past 18 months working alongside Sam and the Dreamakers Team at Trust Salons, Wootton Park where I've gained valuable experience working with bridal parties and as part of the team on professional make-up shoots.
